
Dr. Julie DiMatteo is available for in-person sessions at our Rochelle Park, NJ office and telehealth sessions in NJ, NY, and all PsyPact states.
Dr. Julie DiMatteo is a clinical psychologist board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy. Dr. DiMatteo specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), and trauma in adolescents and adults. She is trained in the SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) program, and provides support to parents of anxious adolescents and young adults. Dr. DiMatteo believes in creating a collaborative and inclusive environment for her clients and is extensively trained in tailoring her work to the needs of autistic adolescents, adults, and their families.
Having trained at the New York-Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health Center Women’s Inpatient Unit, Northwell Health System’s Zucker Hillside Hospital’s Perinatal Psychiatry Services, and at New York State Psychiatric Institute’s Women’s Research Center, Dr. DiMatteo has additional specialization in women’s mental health across the lifespan and an understanding of the unique factors that impact women during the perinatal, postpartum, perimenopausal, and menopausal phases of their lives.
Dr. DiMatteo serves as the research coordinator and a board member for the National Social Anxiety Center (NSAC), as well as a consultant for the College Autism Network’s Consultants’ Collective.
