Dr. Cynthia Radnitz is a clinical psychologist and certified cognitive therapist by the Academy of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy with over 30 years’ experience practicing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). She has advanced training in treatment of OCD and has successfully treated many individuals with severe, complicated and treatment-resistant OCD. Other areas of expertise include anxiety (including social anxiety disorder and panic disorder), depression, trichotillomania and other body-focused repetitive behaviors, tics and Tourette’s Syndrome, PTSD, and substance abuse. Dr. Radnitz is committed to offering state-of-the-art CBT-based interventions to her clients in a highly supportive and accepting environment.

For 30 years Dr. Radnitz held a tenured faculty position in the clinical psychology doctoral program at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) where she taught CBT-oriented graduate courses, provided clinical supervision to doctoral students and completed a term serving as Director of Clinical Training for FDU’s program in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Radnitz worked for 15 years part-time at the Bronx VA Medical Center assigned to programs for treating veterans with substance abuse problems. She is a graduate of the BTTI of the International OCD Foundation, the Virtual Professional Training Institute of the TLC Foundation for BFRBs, and the TS-BTI Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) Training.
